About Us

We are Carey Campbell and Lynn Kyle; qualified integrative counsellors, registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and accredited members of the National Counselling Society (NSC). Together we make up Different Therapy NI, named because we are different – distinct, individual and diverse. 

Every different is different. It is our priority to offer you a safe, warm, welcoming space where you can explore what ever is bringing you to counselling and learn to celebrate you!

As counsellors with training, experience and understanding in GSRD we endeavour to offer an exceptional counselling experience for all. As mental health counsellors our specialisms include working with the LGBTQIA+ community, kink and sexual diversity, relationship diversity such as ethical non-monogamy, and gender identity. We have vast experience working with trauma, childhood issues, behavioural issues, and anxiety.

Our ethos is to offer a counselling service that is inclusive. We understand how big a hurdle it can be to even begin to explain what your ‘different’ or ‘diverse’ looks like for you. Our vision is to remove that hurdle so you can step into your counselling journey with a little more ease, where you know your counsellor will offer you a non-judgemental, open-minded, inclusive therapy experience.

We provide face to face, video and telephone counselling, for both individuals and couples, adapted to your specific needs. As we have said, difference is welcome here, so your journey in counselling will be entirely about what best suits your therapy needs.
